Riyadth Al-Kazily

Computer Software/Hardware Engineer (Retired)

Provide mentorship from a technology-industry perspective, focusing on robot design and construction, particularly electronics, pneumatics and software.

I have been a mentor for FIRST FRC since 2013, and I am passionate about the core principle of Gracious Professionalism. I have recently retired from a 30+ year career in computer hardware and software, spanning areas such as consumer electronics products, industrial process control, and wireless data communications, and now I have more time to spend on my hobbies, which include Amateur Radio, 3d printing, tinkering with electronics, and travel.

Binnur Al-Kazily

Director of Engineering

Programming Mentor

I’m a military brat from Turkey who ended up in the tech world by accident. I’ve always been into building things, and I’ve had an amazing 30+ year career as a woman engineer. In 2013, I started mentoring for the FIRST FRC robotics team, Spartronics 4915. The FIRST experience is true to its motto: “it’s the hardest fun you’ll ever have!”

I am a startup advisor, FIRST Robotics Competition mentor #omgrobots, and advocate for STEM education and women in technology.
