PYRO MECHANICS

Rancho Cotate High School’s Robotics Team (Pyro Mechanics) provides students with the chance to learn real-world industry skills in engineering, electronics, programming, and business.

The team is continuing its third year with the goal of competing in the Berkeley Regionals against 40 other teams. We are registered with FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC), a globally recognized organization.

The mission of FIRST® is “to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.”
